The journey for Mark Hochberg to NYU Tisch began as a child. He loved music and was always found dancing to songs on the radio. 

This love of dance was nurtured and encouraged by his parents, who enrolled him in dance lessons. He took part in numerous dance programs and extracurricular activities, along with numerous dance contests throughout his youth and early schooling. This passion and dedication to dance continued into his teenage years, where he joined other like-minded youths in participating in troupes with a hunger to develop his skill among America's best. After formal education, it was natural for Mark Hochberg to set NYU Tisch as his next goal.

After plenty of hard work and dedication, he found himself learning in one of the USA's most prestigious dance schools. Today, he helps out other students become a part of this culture of excellence and dance by providing them with numerous resources and tips. His advice doesn't just focus on getting into Tisch, but also some insights on dance. His focus is on contemporary dance, but he also has experience in modern dance and hip hop. He also takes part in teaching impoverished youth the love of dance in youth centers.
